In collaboration with Alaska Pacific University and the University of Alaska Fairbanks, CU Boulder is cohosting the Community Office for the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Navigating the New Arctic 倡议, which uses convergence research to address and mitigate climate-change-related challenges in the rapidly changing Arctic.

The Community Office is led by Matthew Druckenmiller from the National Snow and Ice Data Center 在博彩平台推荐.

Funded by the NSF for five years, the Community Office supports the goals of the Navigating the New Arctic 倡议 by focusing on co-production of knowledge with Indigenous peoples, convergence research, culturally responsive education and outreach, and open science. The Community Office also works to increase recognition of Indigenous knowledge and data sovereignty, and to promote inclusive and collaborative research design and implementation.
